AND WHAT THEY SAY ABOUT WORKING WITH US…
I’ve been thoroughly impressed by James’s work for us. He’s a superbly creative self-shooting director who has helped us improve the quality of our video content over a range of projects, from an ad for a spoof perfume campaign to promos for our peak season space-themed programme for families and our Hothouse creative leadership courses. The Eau de Titan video, for example, was viewed over 120,000 times across our social media platforms and was the cornerstone of a campaign that won Best Small Budget Campaign at the Guardian/Marketing Agencies Association Do Different Awards.
On each project, James worked well with the brief and brought an array of additional ideas to the table, which really helped push the scope and effectiveness of the final product. As well as being highly knowledgeable and experienced with the technical aspects of filmmaking, James is very easy to work with and really brings the best out of the talent on-screen.
Tom Trinkle - Eden Project, Digital Content Manager
We first started working with The Motion Farm around four years ago when we were developing our Hospice Stories project. We needed to find a film maker who showed sensitivity and compassion and could produce short films with patients or family members that would be captivating for a wide audience of viewers. I had received only positive feedback when I had asked contacts about The Motion Farm and was delighted when, at his initial presentation to us, it was clear James understood our charity and our mission. He's gets what we are trying to do and say and for us that's really important. He has worked with us ever since and is popular with everyone from the nursing staff, to our volunteers and our patients. He has a calm and professional manner and sometimes I think he must be able to read my mind as he always produces exactly what I had asked, and hoped for, in terms of the final package. The results have been amazing and we enjoy nothing but compliments for the films produced with The Motion Farm. Of particular note would be Sara's story, the volunteer project of 2017 and our hospice tour films. I think I can sum all this up by saying we don't look to work with anyone else when we need a film making.
Tamsin Thomas - Cornwall Hospice Care, Head of PR & Communications
It was an absolute pleasure, they're equally comfortable working with students as well as with our Board of Directors, key funders and supporters remaining cool at all times always bringing the very best out in their subjects.
Sally Heard - CEO, School For Social Entrepreneurs Cornwall
From discussing the brief in the early stages through to implementation, they were able to inject added creative ideas that really helped take the short film to the next level. I wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again, in fact we are currently working with them on another project at the moment!”
Laura Hicks - Account Manager, Wild Card
“Working with the Motion Farm has been an excellent experience. James has been both highly professional and accomplished in working with the Cornwall SPACE Service and the disabled children and young people who use the service. He has created 3 short films with disabled children and young people as co-creators that really document the experience, views and opinions of disabled children, young people and their families. I would highly recommend working with the Motion Farm.”
Laura-Beth Roberts – Service Co-ordinator, Action For Children – Cornwall S.P.A.C.E
“St Austell Brewery have worked with The Motion Farm on several film projects and we have been very happy with the final products. Missing Cornwall, the first of the two films was shot and edited by The Motion Farm and received a wonderful response. We are very happy with their creative input and getting the right tone for the film. The second project was St Austell Brewery’s End of Year presentation and we were very happy with the job, the ease in which the people were handled and their hands on approach.”
Lorella Jacinto – Marketing Assistant, St Austell Brewery
